Jennifer Parker

Jennifer works with ASX-listed companies and other organisations to raise their profile, communicate their strategy, and manage complex issues.  She has over 15 years of experience in senior in-house and consulting roles across corporate and financial communications, investor relations, media relations, corporate affairs, internal communications and marketing.  

She is passionate about the strategic role of communications in helping an organisation to deliver on its objectives and build strong stakeholder relationships.

At Cannings, Jennifer’s role includes being embedded as corporate affairs lead for the world’s second largest Rare Earths producer, ASX-listed Lynas Corporation.  In this role, Jennifer manages global media and investor relations, internal communications, issues management and communications with other key stakeholders.

Previously, Jennifer gained valuable experience in the digital media industry. She was Corporate Communications Manager at ASX-listed global real estate advertising company REA Group, responsible for managing issues and driving financial media and investor communications during a period when the market capitalisation increased ten-fold. She also held the role of Head of Corporate Communications at digital media company AOL|7, where she was responsible for internal and external communications, reputation management, and led the company’s partner development program. Jennifer’s prior experience also includes leading transformation and M&A communications in the telecommunications sector.   

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), majoring in Linguistics, from University of Sydney and Master of Arts in Communication Management University of Technology Sydney.  She is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
